Your Story, Your Pace, Our Commitment. Change is Possible.
You may not feel like yourself. You may not be functioning at your best. Maybe even avoiding aspects of your day-to-day life.
You’ve likely asked yourself: “Can I be better?”, or "Can my life be better?". Past experiences may leave you doubting what’s next. It can be hard to imagine a way forward.
Change is possible.
Everyone’s story is unique, but the struggles we carry often have familiar names.
Maybe you’re…
- Feeling disconnected and unsure of what you truly want.
- Carrying past traumas or emotional wounds that weigh you down.
- Exhausted, overwhelmed, and anxious about the future.
- Struggling to connect or communicate in your relationships.
- Wrestling with self-doubt or feeling like you’re never enough.
- Burnt out from work, family, or personal obligations and unable to find balance.
These struggles are real, and you don’t have to face them alone.
Meet Your Therapist- Donnie Jeffrey, MEd, RCT, CCC (he/him) — a Registered Counselling Therapist with over 23 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s hardest seasons.
Donnie specializes in providing trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment for people experiencing mental health challenges that include anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.
His work is grounded in evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), always tailored to the needs of the individual.
At the heart of Donnie’s practice is a deep belief in people’s potential, even when they can’t see it yet. Clients are met with a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where meaningful change can begin, helping them move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and control over their lives.
It’s common to wonder if therapy will actually make a difference.
Therapy isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about creating a safe space that allows for discussion, reflection, and change related to what is weighing you down, and finding practical steps forward at a pace that feels right for you.
Waterstone Counselling & Therapy’s approach is compassionate, non-judgmental, and tailored to your unique needs. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, or relationship concerns, you’ll never be pressured to “have it all figured out.” Instead, you’ll be provided the space and time to engage in the changes you need and leave each session with a sense of clarity and progress.
